Hutong Half-Day Tour (includes lunch)
This tour takes you back to the old days of Beijing. Hutong is the Chinese name for the ancient city alleys and narrow lanes originally built in the Yuan Dynasty, where neighborhoods are made up of traditional courtyard-style homes. Ride in an old-fashioned pedicab through the Hutong district during this guided tour. Transfers and lunch are included.

Tibetan Lamasery, Mao's Mausoleum and Beihai Park (includes lunch)
Yonghe Lamasery is a famous 17th century Buddhist temple in Bejing, now residence for over 70 Tibetan and Mongolian monks, as well as a 75 foot high Buddha carved from a single piece of sandalwood. Visit Chairman Mao's Mausoleum in historic Tian An Men Square. Beihai Park was the major imperial garden during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Attractions include the White Pagoda, Nine Dragon Screen and Tuan Chang Temple. Guided tour includes transfers and lunch.

Hongkou (Jewish Heritage) Half-Day Tour
Visit the classic 1930’s-era Peace Hotel and roof garden, built by Victor Sasson; see Ohel Rachel Synagogue (now used by the Shanghai Education Commission); visit the Ohel Moishe Synagogue, the center of an active Jewish community prior to World War ll; visit the Hongkou District, known as the main sanctuary for 30,000 Jews during the war, where immigrants lived and many opened shops catering to their community; continue on to visit a Children’s Palace housed in the old Kadoorie Mansion known as Marble Hall.

Full Day Shanghai Tour (includes lunch)
Drive to a neighborhood market to see typical Shanghai life as farmers sell their produce. Then visit a Shanghai family home and learn to make Chinese dumplings, then lunch with the family. After lunch, see a Kindergarten, and tour the Pudong Economic Zone. Visit the Yu Yuan Gardens. Round trip transfers included.

Full Day Suzhou Tour (includes lunch)
Transfer to a train station for a scenic train ride to Suzhou. Upon arrival, tour Tiger Hill with its leaning pagoda and the Garden of the Master of Fishing Net. Enjoy a Chinese lunch.
