Day 1 • USA to BANGKOK
As part of your main tour arrangements with Pacific Delight, fly transpacific aboard a wide-cabin 747 jetliner.

Day 2 • ARRIVE BANGKOK

On arrival in Bangkok, transfer to the Century Park Hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

Day 3 • BANGKOK to SIEM REAP (Angkor)

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia, your stepping stone to magnificent Angkor. On arrival, transfer to the Princess Angkor Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 • ANGKOR and ANGKOR WAT

Travel back through time and meet the once-powerful empire of the Khmers as you visit the well-preserved remains of Angkor. Built between 900-1200 AD, the 90 square mile city is believed to have had as many as 15 million inhabitants at the height of the Khmer empire in the 1300s. Foremost among the monumental relics you will visit are Angkor Thom, fortified royal city including Baphoun, Bayon and the Terrace of Elephants, and the jungle-covered ruins of Ta Prohm. The afternoon is justly reserved for Cambodia's most famous landmark, Angkor Wat. This religious citadel is one of the largest temple complexes in the world. The sight of its dome awash in the liquid gold of sunset is truly breathtaking.

Day 5 • SIEM REAP (Angkor) to BANGKOK

After breakfast, visit a local market to sample the produce and handicrafts. Enjoy a cruise on serene Tonle Sap Lake, where you will see the floating village of Chong Kneas. Later, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Bangkok where you begin the main portion (on Day 2) of your PD holiday.

Today we acquaint you with the life of the legendary father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, revered as Uncle Ho, on your visit to his Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh House. City sightseeing also features the Temple of Literature and the Museum of Ethnology. A traditional water puppet show is a special inclusion this evening.

Day 5 • HANOI to HALONG BAY

We make a morning visit to a bustling local marketplace. In Bat Trang (Ceramic Village), artisans at a pottery workshop show you their centuries-old craftsmanship. A drive across verdant countryside takes us to coastal Halong Bay in the afternoon. Overnight at the Heritage Halong Hotel.

Day 6 • HALONG BAY CRUISE

Cruise Halong Bay aboard a traditional Vietnamese wooden sailboat. With the beautiful bay as a relaxing backdrop, enjoy a tasty lunch of fresh seafood on board. Explore the fantastic caves of Bo Nau and Hang Dau Go before returning to your hotel.

Day 7 • HALONG BAY to HANOI

We return by coach to Hanoi after breakfast and check in to the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel. Time to experience more of the city, its shopping pleasures and notable landmarks at your own pace.

Day 8 • HANOI to BANGKOK
