        Day 3:  Beijing

You tour Beijing's most impressive sightseeing attractions: imposing Tian An Men Square, and the Forbidden City's treasure-filled Imperial Palace, with admission to the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace with a boat ride on Lake Kunming, then on to the exquisite Temple of Heaven.

Day 4:  Beijing

Take a day-long excursion and thrill to the chance to walk atop of the awesome Great Wall. After lunch, stroll along the statue-lined Sacred Way to the famed Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.

Day 5:  Beijing 

Day free. Perhaps, sightsee Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, Tibetan Lama Temple and beautiful Bei Hai Park.

Perhaps join our optional Hutong tour. You will be carried by pedicab through Hutong's ancient narrow streets, then visit a courtyard-style family residence, and admire the view of the city from a top the Drum Tower Pagoda.

Hutong Half-Day Tour (includes lunch)
This tour takes you back to the old days of Beijing. Hutong is the Chinese name for the ancient city alleys and narrow lanes originally built in the Yuan Dynasty, where neighborhoods are made up of traditional courtyard-style homes. Ride in an old-fashioned pedicab through the Hutong district during this guided tour. Transfers and lunch are included.

Tibetan Lamasery, Mao's Mausoleum and Beihai Park (includes lunch)
Yonghe Lamasery is a famous 17th century Buddhist temple in Bejing, now residence for over 70 Tibetan and Mongolian monks, as well as a 75 foot high Buddha carved from a single piece of sandalwood. Visit Chairman Mao's Mausoleum in historic Tian An Men Square. Beihai Park was the major imperial garden during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Attractions include the White Pagoda, Nine Dragon Screen and Tuan Chang Temple. Guided tour includes transfers and lunch.
